This article is for those who do not already have a subscription, and are downloading the Malwarebytes app for the first time. Follow the instructions below to download and install the app on your iOS device. Before installing the app, check if your device is compatible with the system requirements.
TIP - If you have already purchased a subscription, tap Already have a subscription instead of Get Started in step 3. Then follow the steps in Activate your Malwarebytes for Android and iOS subscription.
- Open the Apple App store and search for Malwarebytes Mobile Security.
- Tap Get to download the app, then tap Open.
- On the new screen, tap Get Started.
- On the next screen, tap Allow to get real-time security updates.
- A pricing page appears. Tap Try for free to begin a trial or choose a subscription plan to purchase.
- After purchasing a subscription or beginning a trial, you have the option to create a Malwarebytes account.
- After you have created or signed into your account, or if you skipped account creation, the Malwarebytes dashboard appears.
You've successfully activated Malwarebytes on your iOS device! Now you can turn on your security features to start protecting your device.
