To protect your personal data, Malwarebytes requires two-factor authentication (2FA) to verify your identity when signing in to your Malwarebytes account and when running a Digital Footprint Scan. Each time you sign in to your account, a verification code is automatically sent to your registered email.
How this issue affects you
You don't receive a verification code email after entering your credentials to sign in to your account or when entering your email to run a Digital Footprint Scan.
What caused this issue
Your email service provider is marking our verification emails as Spam or Junk.
How to resolve this issue
- Add noreply@t.malwarebytes.com and noreply@d.malwarebytes.com to your Contact list. Verification emails are sent from these addresses, and adding them to your contact list indicates they are valid addresses.
- Find our emails in your Junk or Spam folder, and mark them as safe by selecting Not Junk, Not Spam, or the available similar option.
- If the previous options don't work, reach out to your email service provider and let them know that emails from noreply@t.malwarebytes.com and oreply@d.malwarebytes.com are valid and safe.
