Chrome | Manage your downloads | When you download something, this permission allows Malwarebytes to check that it isn’t malicious before you install it and potentially infect your computer. |
Chrome | Communicate with cooperating native applications | This permission allows Browser Guard to integrate with our Windows app to ensure you have a more comprehensive protection suite enabled. |
Chrome, Edge | Read data you copy and paste | This permission allows Malwarebytes to detect suspicious data in your clipboard content that could potentially be a security threat. |
Chrome, Edge | Modify data you copy and paste | This permission allows Malwarebytes to give you a security warning when you copy content to your clipboard that contains suspicious material. |
