Malwarebytes VPN can't connect on iOS or Android device

How this issue affects you

You are unable to connect a VPN server when using Malwarebytes' VPN on a mobile device. One of the following messages displays:

  • Network error. Make sure your internet connection is working.
  • Network error. A connection error occurred. Check your internet connection and try again.
  • No internet connection. 

How to resolve this issue

To resolve this issue, we recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Reboot your modem/router, then restart your device. Rebooting your modem/router clears its memory, ends all active tasks, and reloads the system, refreshing the connection to your ISP.
  2. Check your device settings and WiFi/cellular network settings.
