Upgrade your Mobile Security subscription

Mobile Security is great for ensuring the safety of your device. For even more security, upgrade your existing subscription to include VPN, Identity Theft Protection, and other protection features. You can use a VPN to help encrypt your internet usage and keep your online activity private, or access our Identity Theft Protection features to monitor personal information and alert you to potential fraud and identity misuse. 

Read this article for instructions on upgrading your existing Mobile Security subscription.

Upgrade subscription from the Mobile Security app

Note: Subscriptions purchased from Google Play or the Apple App Store can only be upgraded from the Mobile Security app.

To upgrade your subscription from the app:

1. Open the app.
2. Find the feature you would like to add to your subscription, then tap Upgrade.
3. On the next screen, tap Upgrade.
   Note: On Android devices adding VPN to your subscription, tap Get started.
4. Select a subscription plan and confirm your upgrade.
5. On the Play Store or App Store screen, check the subscription details and finalize your purchase.
6. The Purchase successful screen displays.

Upgrade subscription from your Malwarebytes account

Note: Subscriptions purchased from the Malwarebytes Online Store can only be upgraded from your Malwarebytes account.

To upgrade your subscription from your account:

1. Sign in to your account.
2. In the left side bar of your account page, click Manage Subscription.
3. Under your subscription, click Explore upgrade options.
4. Select the panel with the plan that you want to upgrade to.
5. Click Next or ADD TO CART.
6. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete your transaction.
