Desktop Security for Windows version 5.1.1 was released on 21 March 2024.
Features and improvements
- Added the ability to view the status of the VPN at a glance. By hovering over the Desktop Security icon in the Windows system tray, customers can view if the VPN is on, off, or trying to connect.
- Improved shortcuts from the Windows menu bar for app functions and features.
- Improved localization for a better experience using the app in different languages.
- Updated how notifications queue before displaying on the app for a better experience when receiving notifications.
Issues Fixed
- Fixed an issue where the Automatic quarantine toggle was set to off when it should be on by default.
- Fixed localization issues, such as incorrect translations.
- Made minor UI text improvements, such as fixing inconsistencies in naming conventions.
