- Updated Breach Remediation to v2.7.2.1653 to resolve 7zip vulnerabilities CVE-2018-5996 and CVE-2017-17969 in the following components:
- Breach Remediation GUI (Scan > Scan for Malware).
- Breach Remediation CLI (Malwarebytes\MBTS\MBBR.exe and Toolbox > Remediate).
- Updated Toolset shared 7zip library to version 18.01 to resolve 7zip vulnerabilities CVE-2018-5996 and CVE-2017-17969.
- Updated Toolset Updater (Toolbox > MyTools > Check for Updates) with the following enhancements:
- Added ability to update Rules/Database for Breach Remediation (GUI and CLI).
- Added ability to update Anti-Bundleware package (does not currently update Anti-Bundleware database).
- Added ability to update Breach Remediation for Mac package (stored in Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Breach Remediation For Mac\).
- Improved update logic and version clarity for the Installer.
- Reduced size of Toolset Minimum Download (https://toolset.malwarebytes.com/file/MBTS/YOUR-MBTS-PRODUCT-KEY) by 25MB by removing Anti-Bundleware as an included component (obtainable via Toolset Updater functionality).
- Reduced size of Toolset Update Package by 25MB by removing Anti-Bundleware as an included component (obtainable via Toolset Updater functionality).
