If you have a paid VPN subscription, you can customize VPN settings on your iOS devices to ensure your traffic is encrypted when you access the internet.
Set up VPN Auto Connect on iOS device
The VPN Auto Connect setting ensures your device uses a private, encrypted internet connection. This feature attempts to reconnect to the VPN whenever the connection is lost, such as after a reboot, allowing you to use the internet safely.
- On the Malwarebytes app dashboard, turn VPN On.
- Tap Settings
> General.
- Switch on the VPN Auto Connect toggle.
Trust local devices on iOS device
Trusted local devices are things like printers, mobile devices, or other computers connected to your network. This setting allows access to local, trusted devices when the VPN is turned on. To toggle Trust local devices on or off, VPN must first be turned off.
- On the Malwarebytes app dashboard, turn VPN Off.
- Tap Settings
- Toggle on Trust local devices.
