What caused the error message
You attempted to create a new Malwarebytes account through the app, but there is already a Malwarebytes account linked to the email you used. Each Malwarebytes account is associated with one email, so you cannot duplicate accounts. Instead of creating an account, you received the above error message.
How to resolve the error
Now that you know you already have a Malwarebytes account associated with that email, you can use it to reset your password if you have forgotten it. If you cannot remember your password, click Forgot password at my.malwarebytes.com to reset it. If the issue persists even after you have reset your password, contact Support for help.
