- Compatible with:
- macOS
- Available in:
- Desktop Security version 5
Desktop Security requires full disk access to perform thorough scans of your macOS device, turn on Real-Time Protection, and ensure it stays active to safeguard against threats. Granting full disk access allows the app to look at sensitive system areas for more comprehensive protection. Without this access, certain security features may be limited. Depending on your operating system, the steps for allowing full disk access will differ.
