Edit a scheduled scan in Malwarebytes for Windows and Mac

You can set up a scan and have it run automatically with Malwarebytes' scheduled scan feature, protecting your device from threats without having to manually start a scan. Scheduled scans can also be edited after they're created to match your schedule.

Edit a scheduled scan on Windows

To edit an existing scheduled scan on your Windows device:

1. Open the app.
2. Click on the Scanner card on the main dashboard.
3. Click on the Scan Scheduler tab.
4. Hover over the scan you want to edit, then click the pencil icon.
   
5. On the Schedule a scan screen, update your scan options.
6. Click Save.

Edit a Scheduled scan on macOS

To edit an existing scheduled scan on your macOS device:

1. Open the app.
2. Click on the Scanner card on the main dashboard.
3. Click on the Scheduled scans tab.
4. Find the scan you want to edit and click the three dotsicon.
   
5. In the drop down, click Edit scan.
6. Update your scan options, then click Save.
