You can set up a scan and have it run automatically with Desktop Security's scheduled scan feature, protecting your device from threats without having to manually start a scan. Scheduled scans can also be edited after they're created to match your schedule.

Edit a Scheduled scan on Windows
To edit an existing Scheduled scan on your Windows device:
- Open the app.
- Click on the Scanner card on the main dashboard.
- Click on the Scan Scheduler tab.
- Hover over the scan you want to edit, then click the pencil
icon.
- On the Schedule a scan screen, update your scan options.
- Click Save.
Edit a Scheduled scan on macOS
To edit an existing Scheduled scan on your macOS device:
- Open the app.
- Click on the Scanner card on the main dashboard.
- Click on the Scheduled scans tab.
- Find the scan you want to edit and click the three dots
icon.
- In the drop down, click Edit scan.
- Update your scan options, then click Save.
