Malwarebytes Browser Guard not only protects your browser, but also your online accounts. Browser Guard's Profile Checker scans your online account profiles and makes sure you're following all the best security practices so you can stay protected from security breaches. You need to first install Browser Guard on your web browser before running a Profile Checker scan. To install Browser Guard, see Install Browser Guard based on your browser.
Run a Profile Checker scan on your account
To run a Profile Checker scan:
- Click the Malwarebytes icon
in your browser's header.
- Click the Dashboard tab at the bottom of the Browser Guard dashboard. A web page opens in your browser.
- On the left sidebar of the web page under Online Account Protection, click Profile Checker.
- In the Start your first scan card, click Scan now.
- In the pop up window, click Let's go.
- Your scan begins running automatically. Enter in your Google account password to sign in and complete your profile scan.
- When your scan finishes, check your Profile scan summary.

Rescan your profile
Once you've finished running your first scan, you can make changes and update your account profile. To get the latest scan results, rescan your profile by clicking Rescan profile.
