Upgrade your Malwarebytes for Windows or Mac subscription

Malwarebytes is great for ensuring the safety of your device. For even more security, upgrade your existing subscription to include VPN, Identity Theft Protection, and other protection features. You can use a VPN to help encrypt your internet usage and keep your online activity private, or access our Identity Theft Protection features to monitor personal information and alert you to potential fraud and identity misuse.

Upgrade subscription from the Malwarebytes app

If you are a free user, upgrade your subscription from the app:

1. Open the app.
2. Click Buy now at the top of the dashboard header.
3. The Malwarebytes web page opens with pricing options. Select a subscription plan that fits your needs and finalize your purchase.

If you already have a subscription but want to upgrade to include VPN or Identity Protection:

1. Open the app.
2. Click into the feature you'd like to add to your subscription, such as VPN or Identity Theft Protection.
3. Click Upgrade or Learn more.
4. The Malwarebytes web page opens with pricing options. Confirm your selected subscription plan and finalize your purchase.

Upgrade subscription from your Malwarebytes account

Note: Subscriptions purchased from the Malwarebytes Online Store can only be upgraded from your Malwarebytes account.

To upgrade your subscription from your account:

1. Click here to view your upgrade options.
2. Choose the plan that you want to upgrade to, then click Upgrade.
3. Review your plan and payment details, then click Pay now.
