Malwarebytes may require certain restricted access permissions on your Android device to ensure full protection. Features like Junk Cleaner need access to your device’s app usage data to detect unused files.
To allow restricted access permissions (or data usage access) on Android:
- Go to your device Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Apps.
- Tap All apps.
- Find and tap Malwarebytes.
- On the app's info page, tap
for more options.
- Tap Allow restricted settings.
Once you've allowed restricted access, return to the Malwarebytes app.
