Protect more devices with Malwarebytes

If you have a subscription that covers multiple devices, you can easily activate your protection features on the rest of your phones or computers straight from the Malwarebytes app. There are several ways to protect more devices: during app installation and activation, through the main dashboard on the Malwarebytes for Windows and Mac app, and from the My subscription page in the Malwarebytes for Windows app.

While installing the app

After you install and activate the app on your Windows and Mac device, you see a Welcome to Malwarebytes screen.

1. On the Welcome to Malwarebytes screen, click Protect another device.
2. Choose where you want to activate your protection: on an Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows device.
3. Copy the download link and send it to your desktop device or scan the QR code to download the app on your mobile device.
4. After the app is downloaded and installed on the new device, click Next.
5. Use the MB code generated by your first device to activate your second device.

From the main dashboard

On the main dashboard of the Malwarebytes for Windows and Mac app, you see the option to protect more devices at the bottom right of the app. 

1. On the bottom right of the main dashboard, click Protect more devices.
2. Choose where you want to activate your protection: on an Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows device.
3. Copy the download link and send it to your desktop device or scan the QR code to download the app on your mobile device.
4. After the app is downloaded and installed on the new device, click Next.
5. Use the MB code generated by your first device to activate your second device.

From the My subscription page

You can also activate your protection on more devices from the My subscription page.

1. Open the app.
2. Click the person icon on the app's main dashboard. On Mac, click My subscription in the drop down that appears.
3. On the My subscription page under your subscription card, click Protect more devices +.
4. Choose where you want to activate your protection: on an Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows device.
5. Copy the download link and send it to your desktop device or scan the QR code to download the app on your mobile device.
6. After the app is downloaded and installed on the new device, click Next.
7. Use the MB code generated by your first device to activate your second device.
