Browser Guard's Search Result Reputation

Browser Guard's Search Result Reputation feature scans your search results and gives you a heads up if it finds sites that are not safe based on Malwarebytes' threat database. When you use a search engine, each site in your search results will have an icon to show if a site is suspicious or safe.

  • - Sites that have poor or dangerous reputations
  • - Sites that are benign or not suspicious 

This feature is off by default to give you control over your protection. To turn this feature on, follow the steps below.

Enable Search Result Reputation

To turn on Search Result Reputation:

  1. Click the Malwarebytes icon image-20240403-125645.pngin your browser's header.
  2. At the bottom of the dashboard, click Settings Settings.svg. Browser Guard's settings page opens.
  3. Scroll down to Search Result Reputation and toggle it on.
