Scan your contacts with Circle Safety on Android

Keep your social circle's online privacy safe from hackers and security threats with Malwarebytes for Android's Circle Safety feature. Circle Safety lets you run a Digital Footprint Scan on your contacts' phone numbers and emails to check whether their personal information has been exposed in an online security breach. To scan your contacts:

1. Open the Malwarebytes app.
2. Next to Circle Safety, tap Start.
3. Tap Select contacts.
4. If prompted, follow the steps on screen to allow permissions. Or, allow the permission from your device Settings:
   1. In Settings, scroll down to Apps and tap Malwarebytes. 
   2. Tap Permissions > Contacts > Allow. 
   3. When finished, reopen the Malwarebytes app and tap Continue.
5. Select the contacts you want to scan by checking the boxes. When ready, tap Check [x] contacts.
   • Note: You can only scan up to 10 contacts at one time.
6. The scan begins running automatically. 
7. Once the scan is complete, your contacts are shown as Exposed or Safe. Tap Invite to share a Malwarebytes download link with your friends so they can protect their own device.
