Activate your Malwarebytes subscription

Activate your subscription from within the Malwarebytes app or simply by signing in to your Malwarebytes account. With an account, you can manage your subscription, devices, and access additional security features all from one place. If the app is already installed on your device, activate your subscription using your account email and password. To activate your subscription:

1. Open the app.
2. Click the My subscription icon on the app's main dashboard. On Mac, click My subscription in the drop down that appears.
3. On the My subscription page, click the three dotson your subscription card.
4. Click Activate subscription. 
    
5. Click Sign in. The Malwarebytes Account login page appears. If a pop up appears, click Continue.
6. Enter your account email and password.
7. Click Sign in. We will send you an email with a code to verify your account.
8. Enter the verification code sent to your email and click Submit.
9. In the app, click Maybe later to close the screen.

Other ways to activate your subscription

If you have a license key or license key and ID, create your Malwarebytes account and link your license key to your account. Then, activate your subscription by signing in to your account as described in the section above.

You can also activate your subscription with an MB code generated from your Malwarebytes account or the Mobile Security app on your iOS or Android device. To learn more about generating an MB code and activating your subscription, see Activate your subscription with an MB Code.
