When activating a Malwarebytes product, if you encounter the error message "The usage level has exceeded the max volume allowed," you have reached the limit of device activations allowed with your subscription.
Note - Lifetime licenses are only valid for use on 1 Windows device at a time.
To resolve this issue, choose one of the following options:
- Increase subscription device count: To protect more devices, you'll need to update your subscription to include more devices. See Add devices or upgrade your subscription for more information.
- Remove a subscription from a device: Reuse a subscription from a device by deactivating it on one device and activating it on another device. See Deactivate device from your subscription for more information.
