The My Subscriptions screen in Mobile Security allows you to view your subscription and manage your device. If you purchased your subscription from Google Play or the Apple App Store, you can find more information on how to upgrade your subscription with Upgrade your Mobile Security subscription.
Note: Subscriptions purchased from the Malwarebytes Online Store cannot be managed or upgraded from the Mobile Security app. For more information on managing a subscription purchased from Malwarebytes directly, see Manage subscriptions in your Malwarebytes Account.
View your subscription in the Mobile Security app
To view which subscription type you have:
- On the Mobile Security dashboard, tap Settings
.
- Tap My Subscriptions.
- Your subscription type is shown at the top of your screen.
Link your subscription to your Malwarebytes account
After purchasing an upgrade from the app, link your new subscription to your Malwarebytes account to manage and use your new features. To link your subscription:
- On the Mobile Security dashboard, tap Settings
.
- Tap My Subscriptions.
- Tap Create Malwarebytes account or Sign in if you already have an account.
- Tap Continue.
- On the Malwarebytes account screen, create or enter your credentials.
- Tap Create account or Sign in.
Remove a device from your subscription by deactivating it
Deactivating a device removes the device from your subscription and reverts the Mobile Security app to the Free version. Deactivate your device when you want to transfer your subscription to a different device, or you want to disable the paid features. To deactivate a device using the Mobile Security app:
- On the Mobile Security dashboard, tap Settings
.
- Tap My Subscriptions.
- Under Deactivate your device, tap Deactivate this device.
- In the confirmation screen, tap Deactivate.
How to delete your account from the Mobile Security app
This option is only available on iOS devices.
Deleting your Malwarebytes account profile does not impact your subscription but it does take away the ability to activate other iOS devices via your account portal.
- On the Mobile Security dashboard, tap Settings
.
- Tap My Subscriptions.
- Under Delete account, tap Delete Malwarebytes account.
- Enter your Malwarebytes account password.
- Tap Delete account.
How to cancel your subscription
If you purchased a Malwarebytes subscription and no longer wish to keep it, you can cancel your subscription using one of the following methods:
- Cancel an in-app purchase made from the Google Play Store.
- Cancel an in-app purchase made from Apple App Store.
- Cancel subscription purchased from the Malwarebytes Online Store.
