You can transfer your subscription from one device to another, as subscriptions can be used across different devices, platforms, and products.
To transfer your subscription between devices:
- Deactivate the original device from your subscription. For instructions, see Deactivate device from your subscription.
- Install and activate your Security subscription on the new device. For instructions, see Install & activate Malwarebytes personal products.

Change the subscription on your device
If you want to change the subscription that's on your device, follow the instructions above to first deactivate your current subscription, then activate the new one. You may need to change your subscription if:
- You previously used a friend or family member's subscription, but now have your own.
- You previously had a VPN only subscription, and recently bought one that included Security and VPN.
TIP - If you have more than one of the same subscription, contact support to consolidate your subscriptions.
