Sometimes you may need to update the name or email used in your Malwarebytes account, such as when you no longer have access to an old email address. You can update your name and email directly from the Secure Hub page of your Malwarebytes account.
Change the name in your account
To edit your profile name:
- Sign in to your account.
- At the top right of the webpage, click on your profile name.
- In the drop down, click
Settings.
- On the Settings page, click on the pencil icon next to Profile.
- In the Edit Profile screen, delete your old name from the Full Name field.
- Type your new name.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
Change the email in your account
To edit your email address:
- Sign in to your account.
- At the top right of the webpage, click on your profile name.
- In the drop down, click
Settings.
- On the Settings page, click on the pencil icon next to Profile.
- In the Edit Profile screen, delete your old email from the Email field.
- Type your new email address.
- Click Save.
- An authentication code is sent to the new email address.
- In the Verify your new email window, enter the authentication code sent to your new email address.
- Click Verify to confirm your changes.
