If you need to reinstall, self-troubleshoot, or set up Malwarebytes Mobile Security on a new device, follow the steps below in this article. For more information on transferring your subscription to a new device, see Transfer your subscription to a different device.
Uninstall and reinstall Mobile Security
To uninstall and reinstall Mobile Security on your device:
- Open the app dashboard and tap Settings

- Tap My Subscriptions.
- Under Deactivate your device, tap Deactivate or Deactivate this device.
- In the confirmation screen, tap Deactivate.
- Uninstall Mobile Security from your device. See these guides for iOS or Android devices on how to do this.
- Restart your device to clear the cache.
- Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and reinstall Malwarebytes Mobile Security.
- Open the app and finish activation.
